Act No. 84-11 of 09 June 1984 on the Family Code, amended and supplemented.

President of the Republic,

- Having regard to the constitution, in particular Articles 151-2 and 154 thereof;

- After adoption by the National People's Assembly;

Enacts the following act:

GENERAL PROVISIONS

Article. 1st. - All relations between family members are governed by the provisions of this act.

Art . 2. - The family is the basic unit of society, composed of individuals united by marriage and kinship.

Art. 3. - The family's way of life is based on union, solidarity, good understanding, good education, good morality and the elimination of social ills.
