On September 10, 2007, Christoforos G. Politis was deported from the United States to his homeland of Greece. In this case, he sues Stelios Gavriil, the former consul of Greece in Houston, Texas; Demosthenes Konstadinou, the current Inspector General of the Foreign Affairs Ministry in Greece; Dora Bakoyanni, the Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Consulate of Greece.
