Petitioner Abdul Hamid Abdul Salam Al-Ghizzawi, a citizen of Libya, is currently detained at the United States Naval Base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba ("Guantanamo"), and he has challenged the legality of his confinement in a petition for a writ of habeas corpus.
